A fictional miniseries based on the life of Ayrton Senna da Silva, a Brazilian racing legend who won the Formula One World Championship three times. It is based on journalists who followed Ayrton Senna’s career.
He also speaks fluent Brazilian Portuguese
In addition, Scodelario’s family is Brazilian, coming from Senna’s native São Paulo. The first race of Senna’s career in England is shown on a racetrack near a mountain range.

I was and still am a Senna fan and I cried a lot when he died, for many ears I didn’t watch a single F1 race. In short, it’s a must for F1 fans and for Senna fans it’s a reliving of the moments that made you fall in love with him not only as the driver he was but as the person.
